Varamar Shipping DMCC is now operating under the name VARAMAR SHIPPING FZCO.
According to the documents submitted in the Ukrainian court proceedings, the change took effect on 1 June 2026. The company retained the same registration number, JLT5601, and confirmed that it remains the same legal entity with unchanged official corporate details.
In other words, the corporate suffix changed.
The commercial conflict did not.
After the Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv closed the civil proceedings involving a claim of approximately USD 100,000 on jurisdictional grounds, Alexander Varvarenko filed an appeal through his representative.
It is important to state the procedural position accurately: VARAMAR SHIPPING FZCO did not file a separate appeal in its own name. Alexander Varvarenko is the sole appellant.
Nevertheless, the appeal largely continues to defend the broader corporate position of Varamar.
A dispute that arose from a maritime operation, an issued invoice and an unpaid brokerage commission is once again being presented as a private reputational conflict between individuals.
The appeal also claims that the court hearings scheduled for 13 and 14 July 2026 did not take place.
I categorically reject that account.
I personally attended the hearing on 13 July, provided explanations and answered the court’s questions.
On 14 July, the plaintiffs’ representative was present inside the courtroom, sat directly opposite me and participated in the proceedings.
These circumstances can and should be verified through the official case materials, hearing records and technical recordings.
The performance therefore continues:
The Varvarenko Theatre continues its show.
But changing the name from Varamar Shipping DMCC to VARAMAR SHIPPING FZCO does not alter the essential facts.
It remains the same legal entity with the same registration number.
The circumstances of the commercial conflict also remain unchanged.
The central issue is still unresolved: the earned brokerage commission connected with the maritime operation has not been paid.
While litigation and reputational manoeuvres continue instead of resolving the commercial obligation, the international shipping market is receiving more material on which to assess this model of corporate conduct.
