SYNACOMEX 2023 is the latest edition of the standard grain voyage charter party developed by SYNACOMEX and Armateurs de France and approved by BIMCO. It replaced the previous SYNACOMEX 2000 edition.
The form was drafted by the Syndicat National du Commerce Extérieur des Céréales (the French Union of Grain Exporters — SYNACOMEX) and the Comité Central des Armateurs de France (the French Shipowners' association — CCAF), with the assistance of the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris (Maritime Arbitration Chamber of Paris — CAMP) and the Chambre Syndicale des Courtiers d'Affrètement Maritime et de Vente de Navires de France (the French Shipbrokers' Association).
It is widely used for grain cargoes in the Baltic, the Black Sea and the East Coast of South America. Earlier fixtures may still refer to SYNACOMEX 2000: the edition that applies is agreed between the parties.
