Breakbulk is decided by packing and stowage: whether the cargo is crated, bundled, palletised or bare, how it stows in a hold or on deck, how much broken stowage it leaves, and how it has to be lashed and secured for the passage.
From this information we identify suitable vessel classes — geared or gearless, single-decker or tween-decker — check available tonnage through the international freight market and negotiate the commercial terms of the fixture.
We act as independent shipbrokers and do not own vessels.
Cargoes We Work With
- industrial equipment;
- steel products and metal structures;
- machinery and spare parts;
- construction materials;
- electric buses and wheeled machinery;

Our Role
Our work may include vessel search, freight indications, fixture negotiations, charter party support, communication with involved parties and voyage follow-up from loading to discharge.
For many breakbulk and general cargo fixtures, GENCON may be used as a contractual basis, depending on cargo, vessel, route and agreement between the parties.
